<p>いまも続くコロナ禍はとりわけ女性に厳しい試練をもたらした。一方で、「女性による女性のための」支え合い活動が各地で立ち上っている。そうした危機的状況の中での新たな「出会い」がある女性の暮らしを大きく変えるきっかけにもなっている。

「渋谷女性ホームレス殺害事件」から１年
＜昨年11月、所持金8円とわずかな身の回りの物を抱えた60代女性が渋谷区幡ヶ谷のバス停で殺された。男（40代）が持っていた袋で彼女の頭を殴りつけたのだ。その場で倒れた彼女の死因は外傷性くも膜下出血。無抵抗な路上生活者に「痛い思いをさせればそこからいなくなると思った」という男の身勝手な「排除」の理由が日本社会に衝撃を与えた。
殺された彼女のような路上生活女性は数多くいる。野宿者など社会的弱者の取材を続けるフリージャーナリスト松元ちえがその実態を追った。＞

2020年11月、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大に伴い出勤や外出自粛が推奨されていた。バス停で殺された60代女性は失職して路上生活に追いやられた。横になれないバス停ベンチでかろうじて休息をとっていた彼女は、男にとって「邪魔」という理由でこの世から排除された。彼女が直前までしていた仕事はデパート地下街の試食アルバイトだったと言われている。

新聞や放送、出版といった日本の伝統的メディアは驚くべき男性支配状態である。
そんな実態を踏まえ、新聞と出版、民間放送の労働組合などが各業界団体に対して、女性を役員や意思決定に関わるポストに積極登用するよう要請した。
多様性のある魅力的なコンテンツをつくり、発信するためには意思決定に関与する層の多様化が不可欠で、社会から強く求められている、としている。
